South Korean scientists have introduced a potential protein source for the future with “beef rice”. By combining beef cells with rice, they have created a unique grain that retains the shape of regular rice while sporting a distinctive pinkish colour. This new grain contains higher levels of protein and fat compared to regular rice, and may be a potentially cost-effective alternative to traditional cattle-derived meat.
