Crisel Consunji recently won the 2019 Hong Kong Film Award for Best New Performer for her role alongside best-actor winner Anthony Wong in Still Human.
But the actress is also playing a starring role for young children in Hong Kong, running two performing arts centres which emphasise self-expression for youngsters in their developmental stages.
Consunji hopes that the higher profile she has achieved on screen may help her move ahead with her efforts to "bring a little more empathy into the world".
