Dozens of live rice eels escape and slither across train floor in Nanjing, China

A few dozen eels had a brief chance to slither around a train in Nanjing, China earlier this week. Widely shared video shows what happened after a man reportedly tripped while carrying the animals onto a metro carriage in the capital of eastern Jiangsu province. While some passengers jumped in to help catch the escaped eels, others just struggled to contain their amusement.
