As China’s job market becomes increasingly cutthroat in the era of artificial intelligence, more young people are flocking to AI training camps in an effort to stay competitive. Shenzhen-based company Qieman is among the first in the country to launch such programmes, where complete beginners are expected to land jobs as junior AI trainers. However, the role may not be as glamorous as the title suggests.
