Foie gras output surges in China as producers eye the European market

Foie gras has gone from being a high-end delicacy to a popular and affordable product in China thanks to a surge in production. Over the last decade, the country went from producing 2,000 tonnes of foie gras a year to around 12,000 tonnes. Chinese producers now want to expand into the European market.
