Driver cheats death after metal pole pierces car windscreen on China highway

A driver had a close call when the car he was in was pierced by a metal pole on a highway in Suzhou, China on Monday. The pole was from a height restriction barrier that was launched into the air by a truck that hit the structure. The truck, which had entered the road illegally before the crash, sent the bar flying across multiple lanes where it hit the windscreen of the passing car.
