Flash flood at northwest China camping site kills 10, injures 23
China Central Television identified the location of the flooding as the Shuangshimen Scenic Area, southwest of Beijing Alt option: The flooding took place in the Shuangshimen Scenic Area, a popular camping spot southwest of Beijing.
A tourist site in the northwest Chinese province of Gansu was struck by a flash flood on Sunday, killing 10 people and injuring 23, according to state broadcaster CCTV. Several parts of the province experienced heavy rainfall on Sunday, with local authorities issuing weather alerts.
