Taiwan prepares for arrival of Super Typhoon Bavi

Taiwanese farmers rushed to try and protect their crops as local residents began stocking up on food ahead of the arrival of Super Typhoon Bavi. The storm is expected to also make landfall in mainland China, where people are making similar preparations as government departments ordered east coast communities to go on “high alert”.
