Chinese President Xi Jinping met US President Joe Biden on November 15, 2023, on the sidelines of the Apec summit in San Francisco. It was the first time in a year that Xi and Biden met in person, as both leaders aimed to improve ties between the world’s two largest economies. Biden announced new bilateral cooperative deals from the military, to drug control, artificial intelligence and Taiwan.
