China’s internet regulatory body has published new draft laws to further restrict children’s use of smart devices. The new regulations proposed by the Cyberspace Administration of China would require all device makers and app store operators to provide a mandatory “minor mode” that would limit mobile device usage. But some parents have voiced scepticism about the effectiveness of the proposed rules.
