Drone food deliveries take off in China’s tech city, Shenzhen

The southeastern Chinese city of Shenzhen has logged more than 80,000 food orders delivered by drone, according to a Chinese state media report on September 21, 2022. Industry experts predict the utilisation of drones to become even more ubiquitous after the city, in Guangdong province, received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China to establish a civil unstaffed aerial test area.
