Injured Chinese pilot flying again after bird-strike that forced air force jet to crash

Chinese PLA Air Force pilot Wang Jiandong is back in the cockpit after recovering from severe injuries suffered when had to bail out of his aircraft after it collided with a bird in September 2020. Wang was praised for saving lives by staying with the jet to guide it away from populated areas before bailing out at a low altitude. After several months of rehabilitation and training, he is flying again.
