Shenzhen: the world’s pioneer in electric vehicles

The southern Chinese city of Shenzhen is taking the lead in new-energy vehicles. All the buses in the city are powered by electricity, and taxis will be too by the end of 2018. The new-energy drive is part of China’s strategy to become a global leader in electric vehicles as part of its “Made in China 2025” industrial strategy.
