‘Let it be’: watch leaders of Thailand and Singapore croon Beatles classic

Leaders of Thailand and Singapore took some time off from politics to display their musical skills at a recent official gathering. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul crooned the Beatles song “Let it Be” accompanied on guitar by visiting Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. The performance in the Thai capital on Wednesday came as Anutin hosts the Singapore-Thailand Leaders’ Retreat in Bangkok. It is the latest in a spate of displays of bonhomie among Asian leaders on the sidelines of official meetings.
