Japan quake survivor rescued as Aeon president apologises for shopping mall deaths

At least three mall workers died and several others are still unaccounted for after an explosion in the quake-damaged Kumamoto shopping centre.

Rescue efforts continue in Japan after a magnitude 7.1 earthquake rocked southern Kumamoto prefecture on Tuesday, killing at least 28 people and leaving many more missing. The search for survivors centred on a collapsed paper mill and a shopping centre that partially gave way because of an explosion following the quake.
