Gojek founder and former Indonesian education minister sentenced to 10 years for corruption

Former Indonesian education minister and Gojek founder Nadiem Makarim has been found guilty of corruption and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Makarim was also ordered to return over 800 billion rupiah (US$45 million)and to pay a 1 billion rupiah fine for his decision to procure Google Chromebooks for schools during his tenure as education minister.
