Deadly monsoon rains kill 17 in South Korea, 11 still missing

Heavy monsoon rains are causing flooding, landslides, and property damage in South Korea. As of July 20, 2025, 17 people across the country have been confirmed dead, with 11 still missing. The disaster has forced more than 5,000 residents into emergency shelters.
