April 21, 2024, marks five years since the deadliest suicide bombings in the South Asian nation of Sri Lanka. Islamist suicide bombers carried out attacks at several luxury hotels and churches in the capital Colombo, resulting in the deaths of 279 people. Saman and Sriyani Sirimanna lost both of their children in the attacks, and are still holding out for justice amid dragging police investigations and delays in court proceedings.
