Over a hundred fans gathered in the Philippine capital Manila on April 20, 2023, to mourn the death of South Korean singer Moonbin, a member of the K-pop band Astro. The mourners lit candles and placed bouquets of flowers near a poster of the singer outside the New Frontier Theatre where Moonbin and Astro had performed less than a month ago. Local media reported that the 25-year-old was found dead at his home in the Gangnam district of Seoul and that suicide was suspected.
