Emotional reunions following resumption of direct flights from China to New Zealand

Scenes of friend and family reunions have been seen at Auckland Airport, as one of the first direct flights from China arrived in New Zealand on January 8, 2023. This came as quarantine-free travel in and out of China resumed in January after China dropped its pandemic travel restrictions.
