Massive fire engulfs Cambodian casino, people jump out of windows to escape

At least 10 people were killed in a fire that broke out just before midnight on December 28, 2022 in a Cambodian hotel-casino located in a border town near Thailand. The Grand Diamond City casino-hotel in Poipet was engulfed in flames and some people were seen jumping out of the burning building to escape. It took rescue teams more than six hours to bring the fire under control.
