A massive blaze broke out at an Indonesian oil refinery in West Java on March 29, 2021. The fire at Balongan refinery injured at least five people and forced the evacuation of about 950 residents, state oil company Pertamina said. The flames, accompanied by an explosion, also caused minor damage to houses nearby. The cause of the blast is under investigation.
