Deadly shootout ‘misencounter’ involving undercover police and anti-drug agents in Philippines

Two policemen were killed and one was severely injured during a shootout between members of the Philippine National Police and the nation’s Drug Enforcement Agency following a drug raid on February 24, 2021. Police described the gunfight near a popular mall in Quezon City as a "misencounter” between undercover officers from the two agencies.
