Petty theft and similar minor crimes are rising in Ho Chi Minh City and residents are grumbling about ineffective policing. Now, 1500 unpaid volunteers have formed “street knights” vigilante groups to patrol the city and chase down petty criminals. Despite the fact that the job is risky, some of them said that they are committed to a life of fighting crime.
