The 30-year-old, who becomes the first hurdler from the city to take part in the event in 14 years, got a wild card late last month.

She also earned a bronze at the 2024 Asian Indoor Championships. Lui holds the Hong Kong national record in the 60m hurdles and has consistently improved her personal bests.
