DJ Kid Koala's Nufonia Must Fall (Canada)Nufonia Must Fall is a live adaptation of DJ Kid Koala’s graphic novel. It is about Robot R on the verge of obsolescence falling in love with a girl and wanting to create a song for her. Will it be a heart-warming sci-fi love story? This multi-disciplinary concert is brought by DJ Kid Koala, accompanied by the Afiara Quartet, performs his original score on piano and turntable. With 40 puppets, 20 miniature sets, and cameras, the production recreates each scene from the book and portrays puppets on stage. Under the direction of production designer KK Barrett, who was the Oscar nominee, the performance is cinematically lit, filmed, and projected on screen. A combination of cinema, theatre and concert, and brand-new experience for audience not to be missed!
