The 2019 Rugby World Cup will be the ninth edition of the tournament and will be hosted by Japan from 6 September to 20 October 2019. Matches will take place in 12 cities – from Sapporo in the north to Kumamoto in the south – with the RWC final now scheduled to take place in Yokohama after the Japanese government scrapped plans for a costly new stadium in Tokyo.
