Pat Gelsinger
Pat Gelsinger: An accomplished technology executive, Gelsinger spent over 30 years at Intel, starting in 1979, where he became its first Chief Technology Officer and played a key role in developing technologies like USB and Wi-Fi, and architecting the 80486 processor. He then served as CEO of VMware from 2012, significantly growing the company into a cloud infrastructure leader. Returning as Intel’s CEO in 2021, he spearheaded the IDM 2.0 strategy, heavily investing in advanced chipmaking, including 18A technology, and expanding manufacturing capabilities. He recently stepped down from Intel in December 2024 and has since taken on roles at Gloo and Playground Global.
