Jimmy Sham Tsz-kit
Jimmy Sham Tsz-kit is a prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy and LGBT rights activist. A core member of the League of Social Democrats, he previously served as convener for the Civil Human Rights Front, spearheading major anti-government protests, including those in 2019. He was also a Sha Tin District Councillor and secretary for Rainbow of Hong Kong, advocating for LGBT equality, notably achieving a partial legal victory for same-sex relationship recognition. Recognised by Time magazine, Sham was recently released after serving a sentence for conspiracy to commit subversion in a landmark national security trial.
