Hydrogen energy

Hydrogen energy
Hydrogen, produced commercially from fossil fuels for industrial applications for over two centuries, has emerged as a promising clean fuel for transportation, power generation and steel-making in the next few decades. This requires the scaling up of newly-developed technology and supply chain that deploys renewable energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Using “green” hydrogen as an alternative to fossil fuels to drive economic activities is one of the key solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change.
