The Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) is a prominent Hong Kong-based public art museum, established in 1962 as the city’s first. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui, it is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and exhibiting Chinese and international art, with a mission to connect people with art and promote Hong Kong’s cultural heritage. Its extensive collection, exceeding 19,500 items, spans Chinese antiquities, painting, calligraphy, and modern Hong Kong art. The museum, which underwent significant renovation in 2019, also hosts diverse exhibitions and educational programmes, serving as a vital cultural hub.
