Eric Chan Kwok-ki
Eric Chan Kwok-ki is a prominent Hong Kong official, currently serving as Chief Secretary for Administration since July 2022, the second-highest government position. He chairs several key committees, including those focused on education, technology, and talent. Previously, he was Secretary-General of the Committee for Safeguarding National Security and Director of the Chief Executive’s Office. His career began in 1982 with the Immigration Department, where he rose to Director. Chan is recognised for his efforts in attracting top talent to Hong Kong and supporting universities, alongside his responsibilities in policy formulation, government administration, and promoting patriotic education.
