Are you able to be your ‘true self’ at work? There are a number of ways to do so which can include visual elements, such as gender, race, physical disability, accent, or even the way you dress. Sometimes, it can be something non-visual.
According to a 2020 Glassdoor survey, more than 3 out of 4 job seekers and employees polled said a diverse workforce is an important factor for them when evaluating job opportunities. 
	 



The next generation of business leaders is putting increasing emphasis and being vocal on diversity, equality, and inclusivity issues in the workplace. This SCMP Conversation event turned the spotlight to speakers representing those who stand to benefit from a proper implementation of inclusive strategies in the workplace; the same segments of our community who have the most to lose if there isn’t one. Speakers representing the LGBTQ+ community, minority groups and the disabled shared their insights on how our city can build a more inclusive and equitable workforce.
