AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is a football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for clubs from "developing countries" in Asia  – such as Hong Kong – deemed not strong enough for the AFC Champions League. Teams from the AFC’s West Asia division (largely the Middle East) have dominated the competition since its inception in 2004. Hong Kong’s best ever performance was Sun Hei reaching the semi-finals in 2005.
