Lenovo unveils new AI agent, Nvidia tie-up in glitzy show at CES 2026
The AI agent forms part of Lenovo’s ‘hybrid AI’ strategy that targets both consumer and enterprise markets

Personal computer giant Lenovo Group has unveiled a new personal AI agent and a host of enterprise artificial intelligence initiatives at CES this year, in a splashy display of its AI ambitions.
Lenovo on Tuesday announced Qira, a “personal AI super agent” designed to work across multiple devices including Lenovo laptops, tablets and Motorola smartphones.
Qira can summarise notifications, offer real-time transcriptions and translations, and coordinate other AI agents for tasks such as travel bookings. It is able to work locally offline, and is expected to become highly personalised over time, according to Lenovo.
Qira is “completely different” from previous consumer AI features Lenovo has introduced, Lenovo chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing said in a media briefing on Wednesday.
“An AI PC is just an AI-embedded device, and an AI phone is just an entry point for users to connect to public AI,” Yang said. “This year we want to introduce the personalised AI concept to consumers.”
Qira is mainly based on OpenAI’s GPT models, but uses Microsoft’s Phi-4 mini model for local capabilities, according to a staff member at the Lenovo booth. Lenovo would roll out Qira on select devices in the first quarter, the company said.
