China’s humanoid robot makers, Hong Kong start-ups set to dazzle CES 2026

China’s humanoid robot and artificial intelligence hardware makers are expected to be out in force next week at CES, the annual consumer electronics trade show in Las Vegas, to show their latest innovations to a global audience amid an escalating US-China tech rivalry.

Nearly a dozen well-known humanoid robot manufacturers – including Unitree Robotics, AgiBot, Galbot, Engine AI, Noetix Robotics and state-backed X-Humanoid, also known as the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Centre – are expected to show their wares at CES, which will run from January 6 to 9.

In a post on LinkedIn last month, Unitree sales manager Pedro Zheng invited people to “experience” the company’s “next-generation humanoids” at this year’s CES. Hangzhou-based Unitree showcased a variety of models, including humanoid and quadruped robots, at the show last year.

AgiBot, founded by Peng Zhihui, a former “Genius Youth” recruit of Huawei Technologies, said in a post on X last month that the company would bring its “full product portfolio and industry-leading solutions” to CES 2026.
