With dual headquarters in Beijing and Morrisville, North Carolina, in the United States, Lenovo on Thursday unveiled the new AI PCs at the firm’s Innovation World 2024 event in Berlin, where it highlighted how these systems’ advanced processors allow them to run many generative AI tasks on-device, instead of processing data on the cloud.

“By combining cutting-edge AI technology with more sustainable designs and user-centric features, we are not only aiming to lead the market but to redefine what’s possible in the AI era,” said Tom Butler, executive director for worldwide commercial portfolio and product management at Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group (IDG), in a statement released at the event.

The company’s new ThinkPad and ThinkBook enterprise PCs, along with the Yoga and IdeaPad systems for consumers, are powered by AI processors from Intel, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Qualcomm.
