Welcome back to the Post’s live coverage of the 2022 Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens. Sunday is the final day of competition, and it’s been a doozy, with the Shield, Bowl, Plate and Cup finals all set.
In the dying seconds of the Cup final, Australia stun Fiji to win their first Hong Kong Sevens in 34 years.
The result ends an unprecedented five-year winning streak in Hong Kong by the Fijians. No one but them has lifted this trophy since 2014.
New Zealand thrash Canada in the Bowl final, after Uruguay see off Japan to win the Shield.
