Hong Kong fans wanting to follow the historic journey of the city’s team at the 2027 Rugby World Cup can now register their interest in buying tickets, while a range of special packages go on sale from Wednesday.

More than 2.5 million tickets will be available for the tournament in Australia, with adult tickets priced from A$40 (HK$205) for pool matches and 1 million seats on sale for less than A$100. Children’s tickets start at A$20, with those younger than two getting in for free.

Supporters will have two initial opportunities to buy tickets. The first will be in February, when a closed presale will open for fans who have registered their interest via the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 website before the end of January.

All matches and all price categories will be available during this time. In a statement, World Rugby said fans were “encouraged to register to give themselves the best chance to secure tickets”.

In May, there will be a three-week general application phase, offering fans the chance to request tickets for any match, with a ballot system for oversubscribed price categories.
