Dozens of medals are up for grabs in Paris on Tuesday, with a mix of classic Games staples and recent additions to the programme.
If you have yet to embrace Olympic skateboarding, this is the time to do so. Its contestants are some of the Games’ youngest – and bravest.
Or you can keep it traditional with the women’s 200 metres final.
So here are five things you should know for day 11, with all times noted in Hong Kong time as is the norm.

Too cool for school
We’re not sure what we were doing at 11 years old, but it certainly wasn’t competing at the Games.
Zheng Haohao of China is in some ways a typical 11-year-old. It just happens that her playground is the Olympics, while her classmates relax on their summer holidays.
So if it’s not too close to your bedtime at 6.30pm, this is a must-watch.

Athletics again
This is the beating heart of the Games. And while Armand Duplantis’ show-stopper may have raised the bar for the rest, day 11 has its VIP offerings.
The women’s 200m contenders fall into that category.
Can Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia complete a sprint double? Elaine Thompson-Herah, the two-time Olympic champion at both 100 and 200m, is missing after tearing an Achilles tendon in June.
Gabrielle Thomas, who won bronze in Tokyo in 2021, leads the American challenge along with Brittany Brown. Daryll Neita and Dina Asher-Smith represent Great Britain’s hopes.
Their final is at 3.40am.
China’s Zhao Jie is among 12 throwers vying for a medal in the women’s hammer final at 1.57am. Soon after, Zhang Mingkun and Wang Jianan are in the men’s long jump final.
There is also the men’s 1500m final and women’s 3000m steeplechase final.
A few spikes away
If Olympic volleyball has flown under your radar this past week during the group stage, it’s getting serious now.
China’s women have sailed through the preliminaries, even edging past reigning champions United States to top Pool A and earn a quarter-final showdown with Turkey at 3pm.
The thrills will extend through the night, with the US duelling Poland at 11pm and with the last quarter-final at 3am.
Basketball knockouts
The Greek Freak, the Joker, the Stifle Tower and the King – what more could a basketball aficionado ask for?
Those nicknames refer to Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Rudy Gobert and LeBron James.
And the four of them are competing in succession in the men’s basketball quarter-finals, tipping off with Antetokounmpo’s Greece against Germany at 5pm and wrapping up with James and his “Avengers” at 3.30am.
Six NBA MVPs with a total of 13 trophies are in the knockout stages, and if that does not pump your adrenaline, we’re out of luck.

Diving prodigies
We may not have a crystal ball, but it’s crystal-clear who’s favourite to take home the 10m platform diving medals.
Monday’s semi-final seemed more of a casual outing for China’s Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi, given their apparent monopoly of the event.
And as China continues its sweep of the diving golds, Quan or Chen will probably take their country to five from five at 9pm in the 10m platform final.
