With a six-foot frame, a pink mohawk, a matching bowler hat and a moustache straight out of Tombstone, Lyndon Knowles is hard to miss.

But soon, it won’t be just his flamboyant look that turns heads – the WBC Muay Thai heavyweight champion is set to challenge Roman Kryklia for the ONE Championship heavyweight title at ONE Fight Night 30 in Bangkok on April 5.

“I’m over the moon,” Knowles said. “Thanks to ONE Championship, I’m ready to put on a show.”

A long-time teammate and training partner of ONE bantamweight kickboxing champion Jonathan Haggerty, Knowles has been a respected figure in the UK Muay Thai scene for years. His brother Christian is not only Haggerty’s coach but also a central figure in Knowles’ journey.

Lyndon has always carried a deep sense of gratitude towards his brother, who has played a massive role both in and out of the ring.

“My dad died when I was 19, so Chris stepped in in a big way for me. I’m always trying to make him proud and do my best.”
