ONE Championship: Stamp Fairtex vows to come back stronger after latest injury setback
Thai champion’s unification bout with Denice Zamboanga has been postponed after she suffers fresh injury during rehab from knee surgery

Stamp Fairtex, one of the greatest female combat-sport athletes on the planet, is working hard to overcome a serious knee injury and return stronger than ever.
Having reigned as a world champion in three different sports, the 27-year-old fighter has endured a tough spell of adversity in what has been a hard road back to full health.
Stamp earlier this month suffered a setback while rehabbing her surgically repaired knee, which forced her to withdraw from her highly anticipated ONE women’s atomweight MMA world championship unification bout against interim champion and former training partner, Denice Zamboanga.
The fight was originally scheduled for August 1 at ONE 173 at Ball Arena in Denver.
ONE Championship later announced that Stamp, who had been on an almost-two-year hiatus due to injury, would relinquish her title to allow Zamboanga to become the undisputed champion. The Denver event was rescheduled to June 26 next year.

Stamp told the Post that her rehabilitation had been long and challenging.
