Joe Rogan has enjoyed watching ONE Championship on Prime Video.
ONE sold its US broadcast rights to the Amazon-owned streaming service earlier this year, and has since promoted three events on the platform.
The events have aired in prime time in North America, and Rogan, one of the foremost voices in the combat sports industry, was tuned in.
“I love it,” he told ONE flyweight MMA champion Demetrious Johnson on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. “I love that they’re doing that [deal with Prime].”

Rogan, who works as a commentator for the UFC, is impressed with the level of MMA talent in ONE, giving a nod to 25-year-old Brazilian bantamweight Fabricio Andrade in particular.
Andrade was in action in the main event of ONE’s third event on Prime last weekend in Kuala Lumpur, taking on UFC veteran John Lineker for the bantamweight belt. The fight ended with a no contest after Andrade landed an accidental low blow, but he was performing very well until that point.
“Who’s the guy that just fought John Lineker and broke his cup?” Rogan asked Johnson. “[Expletive] beast, man. He was putting the boots to Lineker.
“He nailed him with a knee to the body but unfortunately the follow-up landed right in the cup,” he added as he watched a replay of the final sequence of the fight.

MMA is not all that is on offer in ONE. The Singapore-based organisation also promotes kickboxing, Muay Thai and submission grappling bouts, which Rogan appreciates.
“That’s also one of the beautiful things about what they’re doing at ONE: you get to see striking with no grappling,” he said. “You get to see the most elite expression.”
Rogan was especially impressed by Superbon Singha Mawynn’s 2021 featherweight kickboxing title win over Giorgio Petrosyan – a stunning head kick knockout.

“Petrosyan is recognised as like one of the best kickboxers of all time. For [Superbon] to right-kick to the body, right-kick to the head like that? Holy s***.
“To see Petrosyan go out like that is wild.”
Rogan has been working for the UFC since 1997. He is adamant that he would never commentate for another promotion, asserting “I’m not going to go anywhere else”.
But he admitted there is plenty of elite talent outside the American promotion, once again giving a nod to Andrade, as well as former ONE flyweight MMA champ Adriano Moraes.

“I love the UFC,” he said. “But there’s only 500 fighters in the UFC. There’s thousands and thousands of elite fighters all over.”
Andrade (8-2), who is expected to partake in an immediate rematch with Lineker, was quick to catch word of Rogan’s comments, and thanked the podcaster for his praise on Instagram.
“Great to be mentioned by those two legends of the sport,” he said. “Thank you so much. I will keep training hard and getting better.”
Johnson, Rogan’s guest, won the ONE flyweight MMA title with a knockout of Adriano Moraes in September, in the main event of the promotion’s debut on Prime. He also made a record 11 title defences as UFC flyweight champ.
