The YouTube star-turned-boxer had just crumpled the former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley with a sixth-round KO in their rematch in Florida. He then begged UFC president Dana White to let him fight some of the promotion’s biggest stars, including Kamaru Usman, Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor – and Masvidal.

The 37-year-old American “Gamebred” (35-15) – one of the UFC welterweight division’s top contenders, and a two-time title challenger – let rip at Paul in a 72-second video posted to his Twitter account soon after Paul’s fight.

“Now to address that little b****, what’s-his-face. That [expletive],” Masvidal said. “Listen, man. You can’t [expletive] afford me. You understand? Me and all the other names you mentioned, you can’t afford.

“I know what you pay, and you talk a big game. You say US$50 million here, US$50 million there. But bulls***. If that was the case, Floyd Mayweather would’ve took the fight with you. But he hasn’t because you don’t generate that kind of revenue.
