The American pair, two huge acquisitions made by the Asian promotion from its US counterpart in late 2018, both suffered defeat in during ONE’s run of shows on American broadcaster TNT in April.

Johnson had breezed through ONE’s flyweight grand prix to earn the right to challenge champ Adriano Moraes, but the Brazilian stunned the MMA world with a second-round TKO in Singapore.
The legendary “Mighty Mouse” floated the idea of trying a kick-boxing bout next – and quickly walked it back – but is now set to return on ONE’s stacked 10th anniversary show at the end of 2021.

“He [Johnson] has a huge fight coming up in December,” Chatri told the Post. “I think it’s one the fans are gonna love. It’s a surprise, I’ll announce it next week. But it’s not gonna be a cookie cutter typical fight that fans are accustomed to, I’ll just leave it at that.
