UFC president Dana White has slammed the Triller Fight Club promotion that oversaw YouTuber Jake Paul’s win over Ben Askren in a boxing match.
The 24-year-old Paul later claimed that a staggering 1.3 million people bought the pay-per-view event, which included live music performances and slap fighting.
“Nah, I don’t know if the numbers are there. Do you know what would happen to this guy? [Paul] ain’t fighting in the UFC. You’re getting me talking about this [expletive] guy again,” White said in Saturday night’s UFC 261 post-fight press conference.

“He’s getting hand-picked opponents and God knows what else is going on with that [expletive] thing. There’s a market for that. That’s not what I do. People want to see that and it’s great, and this kid’s going to make a couple of bucks before this ride is over.
