UFC lightweight Tony Ferguson was in surprisingly good spirits a day after losing a stand-in interim title fight against Justin Gaethje at UFC 249.

Ferguson (25-4), who UFC president Dana White confirmed was one of two fighters to be transported to the hospital post-event, posted a video of himself dancing to Midnight Star’s Midas Touch in a hospital gown while holding what is presumably an IV drip.

“Recovery dayze. When you’re about to get discharged from the hospital #LetMeOut #MothersDayVibes Post-fight #UFC249,” Ferguson tweeted.

The 36-year-old also later posted a selfie from his hospital bed alongside his wife, showing off the broken orbital bone he suffered against Gaethje.

Despite showing a lack of sportsmanship immediately after his first ever TKO loss – “El Cucuy” was seen shoving new interim champion Gaethje after the victor attempted to shake hands post-fight, to which Gaethje said “being an a****** will get you nowhere” – Ferguson congratulated “The Highlight” Gaethje in another tweet.
