Two-weight UFC champion Nunes defended her bantamweight title against Germaine de Randamie in Las Vegas on Saturday night, where two-time Olympic boxing champion Shields was watching at the T-Mobile Arena.

“She saw tonight, I don’t think she’s gonna want anything to do with this,” Nunes said at the post-event press conference.

“If she wanna see me, come to my world. I’ll be here. I’m an MMA fighter. She wanna see me, I’m gonna wrestle the s*** out of you, and finish you with a jiu-jitsu submission. We’re gonna see how she’s gonna feel.

“I’m an MMA fighter, why she wanna take me from my sport? If she wanna fight me, come to my world. Doesn’t it make any sense. I respect her as a boxer but I like MMA. I like what I did today. if she can hang for five rounds, come see me.”
