Masvidal beat Diaz’s younger brother Nate Diaz for the “BMF” title at UFC 244 on November 2, and the elder sibling seemed to challenge “Gamebred” to a fight at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas next year.

The 36-year-old Diaz, who hasn’t fought since January 2015, had said on Monday’s episode of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show that he’ll “fight anybody”. He added: “This guy [Masvidal] can do anything he wants to do right now to make the most money possible. I'm like, you know, do the damn thing … I'm doing my part, you do yours. They can do their part and then the show could go on.”

“Is he asking to fight?” Masvidal responded on ESPN’s Dan Le Batard Show on Tuesday. “I was confused, or are we going for a walk some place?

“He’s asking for a fight? He’s asking for a fight or to go for a walk? Does he know who he’s asking for a fight Because I love to fight, especially when I get a little something on top of that.”
