Peter Miller, known as the “Condition Nutrition”, has quickly become one of the most sought-after names in combat sports nutrition.

Based in Bangkok, though originally from Liverpool, UK, he has helped some of ONE Championship’s biggest names make weight safely – without compromising performance.

Weight cutting is a normal part of combat sports, but in ONE Championship there is a twist: fighters must also pass a hydration test.

“In ONE Championship, you have to make weight and also pass a hydration test,” Miller said. “It’s a double challenge: you’ve got to make sure you’ve got enough fluids in your body to pee a hydrated sample, and then also you’ve got to make the weight.”

But it is in this added complexity that Miller has thrived. His guidance has helped turn around the fortunes of some of the best fighters, including Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

“At first, it was a challenge,” Miller said. “I think Rodtang had this reputation of potentially being difficult to work with.
